Foster/Adopt Ministry

Foster/Adopt

Join us as we seek to impact the lives of Foster/Adopt kids by providing for their physical and Spiritual needs. If you are interested in being a foster parent or if you are interested in helping foster kids, our Foster Support Night is the first step.

Foster Support Night

Foster Support Night

  • Starts with a free family dinner at 6:30pm at the church on the 1st Friday of the month.
  • After dinner, the parents meet to pray together and be encouraged by special speakers.
  • Separate kids meetings with games and gospel centered messages.
  • We need volunteers to help with food and kids ministry.

Foster 101 Classes

Foster 101 classes

  • An introductory class for anyone considering being a foster parent. This is a good class if you are exploring fostering but have not decided yet.
  • CCS partners with Olive Crest, an organization that helps with the process of becoming a licensed foster parent.
  • For more information call Anna at 253.572.7888, Anna-Fields@olivecrest.org

Appreciation Events

Appreciation events for Social Workers

  • CCS shares the parking lot with DCYF (Department of Child, Youth and Family services). We offer two appreciation events a year where we provide lunch or breakfast for those who are meeting day to day needs of kids in trauma.
  • If you would like to help with this, contact Jennifer Kauffman at 206.551.2778
